International Mother Language Day Celebrated at BT/Kallady Mugathuwaram Vipulananda Vidyalayam


 In honor of “International Mother Language Day “ BT/Kallady Mugathuwaram Vipulananda Vidyalaya held a special assembly on the school premises. The event was marked by speeches and discussions emphasizing the pride and importance of one's mother language, especially Tamil, as a vital part of cultural identity and heritage.

The celebration began at 7:30 AM with a gathering of students, teachers, and staff, all coming together to recognize the significance of preserving and promoting their native languages. During the assembly, Tamil language teachers took center stage to address the students on the vital role that the Tamil language plays in shaping personal and cultural identity.

“Our mother language is not just a means of communication, but it is the bridge that connects us to our roots, our culture, and our history,”* said one of the Tamil teachers, highlighting the importance of preserving Tamil, which has been a cornerstone of the community for generations.
